Alumina fibre board
Description
AF-183/34 ceramic fibre boards are rigid
high temperature insulating boards made from polycrystalline alumina/mullite
fibre and binders. They are lightweight materials with good thermal shock
resistance, good flexural strength and low thermal conductivity. AF183/34 has been pre-fired to reduce the amount of shrinkage which will occur in use.

Applications
– Hot face linings for rapid cycle furnaces operating at up to 1830°C.

– Boards 900 x 600mm x 20, 25, 40 and 50mm are standard.
